Friday the 1st September 2017, was the day that Grunge Attire went live.

Grunge Attire was started because I love the whole grunge scene and I felt as though others worldwide do too. Being a 90's child, I remember wearing ripped jeans (I created pair myself), and I also remember flannel shirts, denim and dungarees.

Friends, The X-Files and Fraiser were popular shows back in the 90's and watching episodes from that decade back is quite interesting to see how designs have changed within the past couple of decades. But, there will always fashion trends that keep coming back.

For me, creating Grunge Attire was not about creating a retro clothing brand. It was about finding a trend and style that I like and admire. I very much enjoy rock music, whether it be listening to grunge bands such as Nirvana or Alice in Chains, or metal bands such as Metalica and Black Sabbath, or English bands such as Radiohead, Muse, Royal Blood, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Wolf Alice. There is something about music, especially grunge that I feel connected by. I remember listening to Nirvana for the first time and being 'blown away' by what I was listening to. To me it was perfect. It wasn't as loud as heavy metal, but at the same time, it had a raw and distorted sound which is not something I had heard before when listening to punk or Britpop bands. I was hooked.

But, trying to find clothing that matched the style of the music I liked wasn't easy in my opinion. I found that most rock stores often sold garments in all black and was catered towards the 'goth' scene, rather than the grunge or punk vibe I was trying to attain...

Which is why I created Grunge Attire. To me, it is a place that I would love to have had live ages ago.

From flannel shirts, ripped jeans, high-top shoes and humorous t-shirts, Grunge Attire is an evolving place that has items to suit anyone's needs. Not only that, but the quality of the items are brilliant and I also believe that the pricing is very competitive too. Not only that, but we offer free worldwide shipping too.
